Prom Date Disasters

My date never game a corsage because he told me that he wasn't sure if he was supposed to give me one. Too bad I already got him a boutinerre! His mom then picked a flower from their yard and gave me it to wear for a replacement. At the dance my dress was long and it got ripped by morons who kept stepping on it. It finally ripped and then was about 3 times longer than it originally was. Plus there was water all over the dance floor because some idiots were popping balloons filled with water and my dress absorbed all the water! Then when I walked I left a train of water which got real muddy after walking home from the prom because my date's limo never came back to get us.

I was really excited when I got asked to the prom by a senior (who had just broken up with his girlfriend) since I was a freshman. I picked out a strapless navy blue dress that was too tight in the butt, so I had to wear my only clean thong that happened to be this funky lime green color. Unfortunately, my date's ex was really pissed that I was there with him, so during one point when a lot of people were on the dance floor, she and her friends came up behind me and ripped the whole dress off! I was just standing there in my thong (and nothing else) and I just wanted to die.

I was at my prom, and we went in a limo so i was excited because well.. it was prom, so my boyfriend and I were making out in the limo before prom, and when we got there everyone was looking at us like we were crazy, so when they announced King and queen, me and my boyfriend were queen and king so we had to get up in front of everyone, so when we came back down off the stage, one of my friends came up to me and told me that my lipstick was smuggled all over my face! i was soooo embarrassed!!

My boyfriend had just broken up with me and I had lost some weight. I brought a prom date from a different school who was pretty hot and my prom dress was perfect. What a night. Well my ex walks in, and of course his jaw drops, so I strut my stuff. But lucky for me, my high heel turned and my ankle snapped. I fell on the floor, embarrassed, and then tried to get up. My ankle popped and I started crying because it hurt really bad. My ex just stood there, staring and didn't do anything. My prom date picked me up and carried me to and I spent prom night in the ER.

I went to prom in April. I was going to go because dances always turned out bad for me. I got a date. He was a friend of mine and just started dating someone else a few weeks before prom. When we got there it was as if I wasn't there. Hardly anyone talked to me and all. What's even worse is that my date was with his girlfriend. He never let go of her that night. Not to mention that he never danced with me. Now they know why I don't like dances and prom. I cried as soon as I got home and went to sleep.

well i was at homecoming and i was with my date and all my friends and a really good song came on and i start to dance with my close friend and he was joking around and thinking about unzipping half of my dress and the zipper got stuck so you could see the bra and half of my under wear so if was really embarrassing and everyone start to laugh even my date but he didn't care he just went dancing with my friend and didn't ask me if i was ok or anything but thank god my friend got it back up for me.

I went with my boyfriend, derek, to prom. he drove, but then his car broke down. there we were stranded on the freeway. the tow truck came and i had to call my friend to come pick us up. when we arrived, we were just in time for the announcement of the king and queen. i got crowned queen and my ex, tony was crowded king. as we took our dance, i could see derek was mad. he knew that i went out with tony for 3 years. Then derek broke me and tony apart and punched tony! they started to fight! tony ended up getting suspended. since derek didnt go to our school, nothing happened to him. but i ended up breaking up with him because i didn't want a boyfriend who was so jealous. i was so totally humiliated on a the supposedly "best night of my life".

I was going to the prom with the guy that I was in love for over 2 years. It was like a dream that was coming true. I was going to meet him in the party so when I got there I saw that he was not there. I was sitting in chair when I saw him coming in with another chick. And he began to dance with her. It was so embarrassing because I was the only person sitting and alone and the worst part was that I told everyone that I was going with him.

ok like my junior prom i had bought a red dress and i went with my boy friend named Jack. when we got to the prom, this other guy named Chris came up to me and said, "your boyfriend is cheating on you,". i knew he was lying, but i became suspicious. I told my boyfriend about it, jokingly, and he turned bright red at first, then joked about it with me. we had a blast, until at a after-prom party, when i walked in on him and some other girl from another school. I was mad and i hooked up with Chris. we've been together for three years.

I was a Freshman and my date was "the senior jock"!!! He was everything and I couldn't find out why he was going to prom with me. I was 75 pounds over weigh! When the prom was over all of his popular friends (and me) went to this nice motel. We were going to stay for 3 days and 2 nights. He left the next day and left me to pay for the 222$ a nite motel. 

Ok it was prom night and my date was already an hour late. He finally gets to my house and his whole family is in the same car! We get to the prom and my dress (red with little flowers on the back) rips open on the side which then exposes my red thong and blue bra! I ran into the bathroom crying and my friends came in to see what was wrong. I told them about it and being the fashion police they are, they rip open the other side and put 5 pins in each side. It wasn't all that bad looking. But later on that night i caught my date and his ex making out in the hallway. So knowing me i went and got my ex boyfriend and we made out in front of him. He didn't take that so well...he went home crying and i felt so bad!!

Well It was my boyfriend of three years senior prom last year (I was a year behind him) I was one of the only juniors to be invited and I felt pretty lucky. I had gotten the perfect prom dress, shoes, jewelry you name it, and when he showed up at my door to pick me up on Prom night he shows up with my best Friend Brittany and tells me that he was going with her and they'd been seeing each other for two of the three years we'd been together. I was devastated! I sure hope my senior prom is better!

It was my first year at a new school and I had to find a date to the junior prom. I didn't know many people so I asked the guy that sat in front of me English. I told him he needed to be at my house at 5 because dinner was at 6 and we had to stop at my friends for pics. He calls and asks me for directions to my house at 5:30. He sat in his car and waited for me to come out. He didn't give me a corsage so his boutiner is still in my refrigerator. We were late for dinner but he paid so that was o.k.. After the prom as we're walking to the parking lot he decides he is just going to go home. So we all had to cram into my friends car. I hope my senior ball is better. Word to the wise: find a date you know.

alright its my senior prom and i was going with the HOTTEST guy in school! I spent a lot of money on the perfect dress and my hair looked great! When we were dancing, i noticed that there was blood running down my leg! It bled all the way through my white satin dress! MY date looked mortified! He announced what happened to the whole room! on my way to the bathroom, some jerk stepped on my train, and the whole dress came off!!!!!!!! I wasn't wearing a bra, and on the way there we got frisky, and accidentally left my thong in the limo!!!!!! i was completely naked! He ditched me for some other whore, and i ran home in a towel from the bathroom! thankfully i live down the street from the school.

My senior prom was going to be great so I thought!! My boyfriend came and picked me up at my house and left for the dance in the nice limo that he rented, everything was going great. When we got to the dance our song was playing to he asked me to dance, we were having a good time then all of a sudden he pulled the top of my dress down ( it was strapless), he didn't think he had pulled it down that far but he did, my boobs were in my hand and my dress was down to my waist. Just about everyone at the dance saw. It was so funny cause no one knew what to do they were all stunned standing there with their mouths open.

Last years prom was extremely fun. I thought that nothing could go wrong. After prom was done I rented a hotel room with my date. Everything was going as I planed until I realized I had a very bad stomach ach. so I told my date that I was going to go to the bathroom. I was constipated! i was in the bathroom for a half an hour. I felt so stupid that night I could have died. My date was so grossed out he left and hung out with one of his friends in his hotel room. By the way he didn't even sleep in my room!

hi, guys, first off, i love the site and it made my prom so much easier. All the advice is realy good and it gave me the confidence to treat my date with the respect any lady deserves. I took your advice posted earlier and didn't press my date to give me something special at the end of the prom night and i understood that she wanted to save it for her husband. when she told me i applauded her. anyway, that's not what was embarrassing. this girl i was with, she's really popular in school but then, so am i, so i didn't need to worry about anything like that but i didn't know how to ask her so after i read your ideas i decided to follow her around for an hour with rose petals whilst i wore a sandwich board. my friend, chuck, he's a wizz with electronics so he hooked up a sound system which rapped my request to her. It was totally the coolest thing ever! So anyway, i put all my gear on and followed her around school for an hour like you suggested, throwing rose petals behind her with the sound system rapping and i grinned at her when she turned round. She was really into it for the first 45 minutes, pretending to be embarassed and kinda freaked out (it was sooo cute) making everyone laugh and taking any of the tension out of it. But then the police arrived and sprayed me with mace so i couldn't see. They thought i was some kind of pervert stalker!!!!!! God, this is sooo embarassing!!!!! Anyway, i kinda lost consciousness for a bit and when i woke up i had a massive bruise on my head and the sound system had been totally trashed. I was taken to the local jail but after i explained to the cops what i was doing they thought it was really neat and escorted me back to school. The chief of police asked her out for me and of course, she said yes!!!!!!!!!!!! It was totally awesome!!!! Anyway, thanks again prom site!!!

Well I thought prom was going to be one of the best days of my life but it wasn't. I was a sophomore when I went to my first prom and my date was a senior. I really didn't want to go but my mom told me to go cause it might be fun. The guy was shy around me so he asked my mom if it would be ok for him to take me. So I thought we had to plan for this prom but he never called me and never tod me anything. So a couple of days before he was telling me that he was planning a limo and the works. So I was getting excited. On the day of the prom I was supposed to get my hair done but the person that was supposed to do it went out of town. So I had to do my own hair which wasn't a problem. So I got dressed and he was a hour late so I was getting mad. Then I saw a Lexus pull up and I thought it was him but it was only his brother. Then I saw his mother hooptie pull up and he was in it. So we took pics. and I thought we was going in the Lexus but to find out that his mother was driving us to the prom in the hooptie. So then we got to the prom and he left me by myself. And since I was a sophomore I hardly knew anybody there. So then he introduced me to this girl and told me if I could take pics of them two together, and I was mad. So I talked to this junior and we talked and danced. While dancing my date interrupted us and told us that we had to go take prom pics. He didn't have enough money so I had to pay half of it and when he got them he didn't give me none. So then he told me that we had to leave cause his mom was waiting for us in the car. So then we went out to eat and instead of going to a restaurant we went to eat at Burger King. Now I'm a Junior this prom is going to be much better. I got a new date (Someone that I like) and me and him are planning the prom together. So I hope this one be better.
